each extra one €30
Right for you if
- Something already exists there and you want it replaced with a socket that has USB ports
- It’s a standard single or double socket in a normal wall, not a smart or connected one
Different job if
- There’s no socket there yet. See “Add a socket”add as a separate job
- There’s no switch there yet. That’s a wiring jobRun new wiring
- You want a smart switch or smart socket. Most need a neutral wire at the switch, which older Dutch homes usually don’t have. Send a photo of the back of the existing switch, pleaseSend a photo
- The socket has no earth and others in the room do. Mixing earthed and unearthed sockets in one room isn’t allowedExplained on site
- You want it moved, even a few centimetres. That’s a wiring job, not a swap. Ask us.Run new wiring
- It’s in a bathroom or shower areaSend a photo

Common questions
€50 for the job itself, plus the €65 visit fee that is charged once per appointment. That makes €115 if it is the only thing on the visit. Add a second job to the same visit and you still pay the visit only once. Every price includes 21% BTW.
Not on top. The €65 visit fee is the call-out, and we show it instead of burying it inside the job price. Travel, parking, the ladder and the test equipment take the best part of an hour before any work starts, and every trade charges for that somewhere. Ours is charged once per appointment, three jobs in one evening, one visit.
No. Every job on this site has a fixed price, agreed before we arrive. A job that takes longer than expected costs you the same. That is the whole point. The total you see when you book is the total on the invoice.
Only if the job turns out to be one of the conditions we publish on the homepage: no wiring point where you want the fixture, a new group needed in the meterkast, or new ducting. If one of those is there, you get a fixed price for the difference before anything starts, and you can say no.
All electrical work is done personally by a qualified Dutch electrician, following applicable Dutch standards including NEN 1010. Handyman jobs are done by us too. There is no subcontracting and nobody you have not been told about turns up at your door.
Yes. The booking, the questions, the work itself and the invoice afterwards are all in English. Dutch is fine too.
Monday to Friday between 18:00 and 22:00, and Saturday and Sunday between 08:00 and 22:00, across Amsterdam. Send your jobs and a preferred slot on WhatsApp and you get a confirmation within 24 hours.
After the work is done and tested with you, not before. You pay by iDEAL or card and the invoice follows. No account, no deposit.
Yes, with a €40 surcharge on the visit, because the travel is longer. Inside Amsterdam the travel is already covered by the visit fee.
Yes. The lamp, bracket, rail, socket or furniture is yours to choose and buy, and we fit what you have. Standard screws, wall plugs and connectors are included. Anything we have to fetch is passed on at what it cost, with the receipt.
