- There’s already a Perilex socket behind or under the hob — round, with five pins
- You’re replacing an existing electric hob or oven
- The appliance is already delivered and in the flat
Different job if
- You’re switching from gas to induction — you almost certainly need a new cooking group run from the fuse boxby quotation
- The socket behind the hob is a normal one — most induction hobs need more power than a normal socket carriesby quotation
- Your hob and oven together draw more than 3.7 kW — the rules require a separate cooking groupby quotation
- Your fuse box has no spare spaceby quotation
- The hob needs three-phase power and your building has one phase — your grid operator has to be involvedby quotation
Before you book this one, photograph the socket behind the hob and the inside of your fuse box, and send both. This is the job most likely to turn out to be a bigger one.

Common questions
€90 for the job itself, plus the €65 visit fee that is charged once per booking — so €155 if it is the only thing on the visit. Add a second job to the same visit and you pay the visit once, not twice. Every price includes 21% BTW.
