1. Who you are contracting with

Pluggable, Amsterdam, Netherlands. info@pluggable.nl.

2. When the contract starts

You choose jobs on this website and send us an inquiry. The contract starts only when we confirm your slot and your total price in writing on WhatsApp or by email. Nothing on this website is an offer we are bound by until we confirm it.

3. Prices

Every price on this site includes 21% BTW. The total we confirm is the total you pay.

Each booking is one visit fee of €65, charged once however many jobs you book, plus the price of each job.

Travel is included within Amsterdam postcodes 1000 to 1109. Outside that range we add €40.

Paid parking, where it applies, is passed on at what it cost us.

4. What is not in the price

The item itself is yours to buy — the lamp, bracket, socket, rail or furniture. We bring standard screws, wall plugs and connectors.

5. When the price changes

The published scope for each job lists the conditions that make it a different job. If we arrive and one of those conditions applies, we tell you, we give you a fixed price for the different job before anything starts, and you can say no. If you say no, you pay the visit fee only.

If we arrive and the job turns out to be something we told you it would not be, you pay the visit fee only.

6. Changing or cancelling your booking

You can move or cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of your slot. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email at info@pluggable.nl. Inside 24 hours, or if nobody is there when we arrive, we charge the visit fee.

7. Your statutory right to withdraw

Separately from clause 6, because you are a consumer who booked at a distance, you have fourteen days from the day we confirm your booking to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. You can use the form at the end of these terms, or simply tell us in writing at info@pluggable.nl or on WhatsApp.

If you want us to do the work inside those fourteen days, you have to ask us to start expressly, and confirm that you understand you lose this right once the work is finished. We ask you to confirm both in writing when we confirm your booking.

If you withdraw after we have started but before we have finished, you pay a proportionate amount for the work already done.

8. Getting into your home

You, or someone over eighteen you authorise, must be there for the whole visit.

If you rent, you are responsible for having your landlord's permission for drilling or new wiring. If your building has a VvE, you are responsible for their permission for anything on an outside wall, in a stairwell or in a shared fuse box. We cannot get either permission for you and we cannot check it for you.

9. Asbestos

Buildings from before 1994 can contain asbestos. If we open or drill into something that looks like it, we stop and tell you. You pay the visit fee only.

10. Payment

Payment is due after the job, by iDEAL. You get an invoice with BTW on it. We never ask for cash.

11. If something is wrong

Tell us within a reasonable time of noticing it and we will put right anything we did wrong, at no charge. Your rights under Dutch consumer law are not affected by anything in these terms.

12. Insurance and liability

We carry business liability insurance. If we damage your property while working, tell us and we will put it right or claim on that insurance.

Our liability for a booking is limited to what our insurer pays out for that claim. This limit does not apply where the damage is caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness, or where someone is injured.

If we tell you in writing before you book that a particular risk sits with you — drilling into tile is the usual example — and you book anyway, that risk stays with you.

13. What we do not do

We do not do emergency call-outs and we do not run a storingsdienst. If you have no power at all, or the problem is at the meter, contact Liander.
